Bina is an entrepreneur and start-up angel investor with experience in Silicon Valley, New York City, Europe, and the Middle East. She is theFounder and CEO of BK Global Partners – a boutique accounting and tax advisory firm that works primarily with tech start-ups and high net-worth individuals. It is the go-to professional services partner for business setup, scaling, growth, operations, and expansion for all aspects of a start-up’s journey through the U.S., Europe, and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) regions. She also manages an investment fund that focuses on disruptive tech start-ups run by notable teams. She has had several successful exits in start-ups and small businesses including a Mexican restaurant based out of New York.
Bina’s diverse professional experience stems from her public accounting work at Marks Paneth & Shron (MPS&S) and Selznick & Company, two leading accounting firms based in New York. At MP&S and Selznick, she managed a team of professionals to serve domestic and international high-net-worth clients in financial services, hedge funds, manufacturing, fashion, entertainment, and construction.
Bina is a widely respected tax expert in matters related to venture capital and corporate transactions in the transatlantic space, including venture financing, acquihire, and M&A. She has deep expertise in start-ups and the venture capital sector, with an emphasis on working with cross-border founders and entrepreneurs establishing their ventures in United States, and American investors investing in non-U.S.-based companies.
Bina most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer of Pure Harvest Smart Farms in the UAE, providing day-to-day leadership to execute specific strategic initiatives for the UAE’s first-ever high-tech, controlled-environment agriculture venture, while serving as a complementary asset to the company’s CEO. Bina remains a major investor in Pure Harvest and continues to support the company, including serving on various board committees.
Bina holds a Dual MBA with a concentration in Accounting & Taxation from Pace University Lubin School of Business and a B.S. in Business Administration from Fordham University in New York City. She also serves as an advisor to startup founders and accelerators interested in innovation, entrepreneurship, and high-growth companies.
